Yalasarat found ‘guilty’ for insulting president

TEHRAN – Ali Akbar Kasaiyan, a spokesman with the Iranian media court, said on Sunday that Yalasarat weekly was found guilty by a majority verdict for insulting the president, Fars news agency reported.
However, the jury rejected other charges, including being impolite to other Iranian officials, , Kassaiyan said.
He further said that “the weekly was also charged with libel, and spreading rumors and lies, but was not found guilty by a majority verdict.”
